Founded in 1928, Arrowview started as a "junior high school" serving the immediate neighborhood and community. 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students attended school on the campus. The school's original mascot was named the "Braves". Years later Arrowview became a "middle school" with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The new mascot became the "Dragons".

Some of Arrowview's original buildings are still here today, like the cafeteria and the "C" building. The other buildings were built through the years.

Although hair styles, clothes, and dances have changed a lot over the years, and things have become much more expensive. One thing stays the same. Arrowview is still committed to the neighborhood and community, but especially to the students and their families.

Ours is a place to work hard, play hard, and to become all you can be.
