The Alternative Schools Placement Committee meets monthly to discuss any issues related to admission and space. Members review applications and MTSS completed documents for enrollment at one of the alternative school settings.
Members Include: Director of Alternative Programs, Principals of Sierra and San Andreas, Coordinators of Community Day School and Destination Diploma & Alternative Learning Center, and one
representative from each of the comprehensive high schools (Vice Principal or Counselor). If student referred is in Grade 2-8, one
representative from the Elementary/Middle School must be present.
